“This was a great spot for our family trip- clean, comfortable, stocked, in a great location (10 min. walk to train or bus), great restaurants in walking distance. We had no problem finding street parking. Hosts responsive. A very comfortable spot to stay after busy days in DC. All in all, no complaints at all!”

“The Ivy Mansion is a beautiful brownstone building that is effectively a four unit bed and breakfast. It is truly mansion sized, with a lovely and comfy ground floor with a full kitchen that you are welcome to use. My room was quite large and the owner had recently renovated my bathroom, which had a great tiled glass enclosed shower with a rainfall shower head and great pressure. “My friends and I had an excellent stay at this property, it was the perfect size for 3 adults and very quaint and private. I will say that the listing says that it is 8.8 miles from Leesburg VA (which is where my friends and I were visiting) but that is not entirely accurate- there IS a ferry you can take across that maybe makes that number true but if you are an out of towner and are planning on just driving GPS style it ACTUALLY takes about 25-30 minutes to drive into town. “The property is 3 levels with spiral staircases. 1) Downstairs "livingroom" area with sofas and TV. Washer/dryer also located there. We didn't spend much time in this room since there was no bathroom on that level 2) Second floor has the queen bed (comfy), kitchen and bathroom. This is where we spent 95% of our time.
