It is located super conveniently to three different train lines and a whole host of bars, bodegas, and restaurants which for a 9-day stay, was a great perk. I also appreciated having access to a full kitchen with supplies to save a little from eating out constantly. “Deidre was a wonderful host. Very communicative. She answered every question promptly. She stocked the apartment with extra items like coffee and oatmeal in the kitchen, and toothpaste in the bathroom. These are items that you don’t find in other VRBOs. I appreciated being able to park my rental car on the driveway. Location was great, close to shops and restaurants and the beach. And she gave the best restaurant suggestions! I enjoyed my stay.”

“We stayed at the New Dawn for a Memorial Service. The setting on the water was so peaceful and private, yet easy access for those of us traveling by public transportation from Manhattan and La Guardia airport. We had chairs lined up facing the water for a Celebration of Life Ceremony. The whole downstairs layout was just wonderful with indoor and outdoor areas for people to gather, sharing memories and grief. Food platters from Costco were easily arranged and the weather was perfect. It was so……

“Cute cottage, very clean! Right on the canal complete with little beach, firepit, outdoor grill, lounge chairs, etc. Cottage was comfortable, well maintained. Nice little touches everywhere. Quiet area, great for relaxation! Would definitely go back!!!”

“There are a few things I want to say but to be fair I’ll say this one if you are over 5’9” don’t do it I’m lucky I don’t have a concussion I’m 6’1” and hit my head numerous times, as a oversized couple the bed besides being up against the wall was questionable in support of two people so I spent my time on the couch which one had stains and an Odor, and the better of the two was caving in the middle. The so-called kitchenette, is just a fridge and a microwave so we had to eat out all week and……

“Property was very clean and comfortable . We were able to walk to the UBS Arena within 10 minutes , which was very convenient and economical as parking is pricey . Having offstreet parking was so helpful . Ahmed answered all of my questions and his suggestions were helpful . Excellent diner , deli and bakery nearby ! Would highly recommend”
