“Clean room”

“Room was clean, staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was always hot, full and ready. We had no issues with parking on any of the 4 days there. 2 small things I found different but not serious. For breakfast there was no salt or pepper for taste. Our room while kept clean and stocked our dirty towels piled up. Again, neither item was in anyway an issue that would cause me to complain or not suggest others to stay at the Wausau Hampton Inn.”

“Everything was spotless in the room and bathroom! Beds very comfy! Pool was warm and hot tub just right! Staff very polite and helpful! Breakfast buffet was great!”

“Staff was excellent, and I understand that this is the cheapest hotel in Wausau. However the people that were staying there were mostly drug addicts, there were a few nights I had watched drunks slouched over by the doors, people talking to themselves and whatnot. One night I had a drunk guy in his 50s knocking on my door multiple times over the span of an hour because he was too drunk to realise he was at the wrong door. If you need a quick stay and you’re low on funds stay here but if you can……

“I’m not even sure how to explain the smell in my room. It was something like urine and stale smoke. I stayed in the room for about 15min and then just left, checked into the holiday inn express. I get it $45, but wow!”

“We stay here every time we go back home to visit! Its clean and quiet and has a good breakfast.”
