Charming Studio Cottage located on Easton's Point

Excellent Easton's Point location, just off Tuckerman Avenue. Charming cottage located on a quiet street walking distance to Easton's Beach, 2nd Beach, numerous restaurants, and Newport's scenic Cliff Walk. Only a short driving distance to downtown Newport, several historic mansions and Bellevue Avenue.

This studio style cottage is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood adjacent to an owner-occupied dwelling. It is ideal for a single person, couple or small family (max. 1 older child) coming to enjoy a lovely, relaxing vacation in the Newport area.

Due to the structural set up of the rental (stairs and loft) and the safety of guests we prefer to have only older children, aged 12 and up traveling with their families.

Quiet Cottage in Lovely Neighborhood
The cottage was perfect for our needs - a college roommate was joining me for a portion of the stay and having two separate sleeping areas worked very well. The kitchen was great for a quick morning breakfast. Beds were comfortable and the cottage was well-appointed. Loved the little patio off the side with a little view of the water. Location is excellent as we were able to take a walk along the water and up to Flo's Clam Shack, Bottega Bocconi cafe, Rejects Beer Co. taproom, and Diego's Cantina all on Aquidneck Ave. Downtown Newport is a 5-7 minute drive away, making this a great spot away from the crowds during the busy season. Joan was a great host, checking in from time to time to ensure we had what we needed. Would be perfect for a couple or even a family of 3.

Perfect, quiet getaway.
The cottage was perfect for us. It was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. The best part was walking to the edge of the water, sitting on the rocks and watching the waves. Very convenient drive to downtown, mansions, Cliff Walk etc.

Nice little cottage next to owners home, quiet residential area, can walk or bike to beach or the restaurant area. Full size frig, oven and microwave, etc. Comfy and convenient. Friendly and helpful owner. We would stay here again.

Perfect retreat
The little cottage was the perfect spot to relax, refresh, and renew while celebrating a friend's retirement. The hosts are very accessible and gracious. The cottage is clean and cozy. There is a wonderful welcome cat and yard bunnies! The back yard seating area is a perfect place for morning coffee. Would recomment this cottage to others!

Great cottage!
The location was perfect, short walk to beach. Also short walk to some restaurants and short drive to downtown Newport. Cottage was clean and had everything you’d need for your stay. Joan was great and made check in and out easy! Would love to return!

Only one problem
The only problem was a very noisy refrigerator motor going on and off. Think the fan needs repair or the fridge needs to be leveled. We tried to do the latter but didn’t have the right tools. Otherwise it was a charming, clean, well located cottage.

Cozy cottage great location
We travel with our bicycles attached, so the Middletown location is perfect to leave the vehicle and get around by bikes. How nice to avoid the hassles of traffic, parking fees and congestion of Newport. Plenty of sidewalk room on each side taking the causeway to downtown and local restaurants. Casually peddling through the areas of old era mansions and easy parking near the cliff walks. The hosts couldn't be any nicer and we're thankful for that. Cottage is clean, well kept and has everything you need.

Amazing Stay & Location!
My boyfriend and I were in town for a wedding and had a wonderful time at Joan's cottage! Joan was very communicative and made sure we were comfortable / had everything we need. The property is exactly as pictured (even a bit bigger than I expected) and in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood less than 10 mins away from the beaches and everything downtown Newport has to offer. The check in/out process was super simple as well. Thank you so much Joan!!! We will be back

Easy Getaway
Would absolutely stay here again and would be happy staying longer. The place was super clean, comfortable, nicely decorated with a cottage style, and well stocked with everything you could need. The separate loft bed worked well for us. Joan was so nice and helpful but not on top of you in any way. Location was great—quick and easy to zip over to Newport or just walk to beach and nearby restaurants.

This was such a cute little studio! It was only 2 blocks from the water and Joan and her husband were so nice! The place was so clean and Joan thought of a lot of little things (tooth picks, salt & pepper). It was also very quiet there. We loved it and will return!

Perfect Newport getaway
We loved staying in Joan’s cottage—it was the perfect size for my husband, mother-in-law and me. Brian and I stayed upstairs in the loft area and my MIL slept on the queen-sized bed downstairs. The neighborhood is ideal—right by the beach and very quiet at night. Our only regret is not staying longer! We’ll be back.

Hidden Treasure
This lovely little get-away offers just what it promises! The cottage is sparkling clean and new looking with comfortable furnishings in a small but very usable space! Out the back door is a picture-perfect English garden and including a peek at the nearby ocean. One can sit at the umbrella table on the cute patio to soak in the pretty and serene atmosphere. The host is gracious and available for any additional requests. The ocean is close by and easily accessible.
