“We love this hotel! We were there two years ago and wanted to return to see if it still was as exceptional as we originally thought. And it was! The dinner in the restaurant was wonderful and the complimentary breakfast was top notch. The property is lovingly maintained by the nicest couple. They are working hard to get their outdoor eating area ready for the season!”

“Saplinbrae is in a lovely quiet area. The staff were very friendly and the room and food were excellent. There is a nice walking area behind the hotel which is very picturesque and peaceful.”

“Perfect place to stay with a dog. The mattress could do with an upgrade but otherwise very comfortable although there was an overwhelming smell of cleaning products in the accommodation. Food is excellent. ”

“Booked a twin and double room. Rooms clean and well appointed with a communal kitchen area for use by guests. Did not use breakfast service as we left in the morning before the hotel staff had arrived. Only small complaint was that the staff were unable to open the connecting door between the 2 rooms which would have made things a lot easier. ”

“Host was extremely rude. We were trying to enter the building with provided code and the door would not open. We called for assistance and she yelled at us that we were not pushing the door. No offense but one should not have to use your shoulder with force to open a door. Bathroom was covered in mold, hallway & room has strong chemical odor, pillows were of questionable quality & cleanliness. Upon leaving we were greeted by the host and she felt compelled to show us how “easy” it was to……

“飯店環境優美，一切都好，不知道是飯店老了要整修還是怎麼樣，住宿的品質很差。我們住的房間外面的樓梯正在重新裝修，樓梯漆的味道都蔓延到房間裡頭，真不知道為甚麼可以認為可以把客人安排在這樣的房間裡頭？另外，更可怕的是，早上起床廁所的天花板開始漏水，有兩條水柱從上面嘩啦啦噴下來，一個還是在洗手台上方（有照片為證）！真的很不悅，希望飯店可以為我們的住宿品質打折而為作出補償。”
