Studio 6 Mountlake Terrace, WA - Seattle

2/10 Terrible

"In all of my travels all over the world this has got to be the single worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Quite regrettably I rebooked because I had to stay longer in Seattle. HUGE mistake. In 11 days, my room has had housekeeping in only once, no clean towels, no change of bed linen, and the absolute WORST member of staff Morgan, whose solution was to shout at me, demanding to know if I want to check out tonight, and mind you, it’s 9:00 pm. If you can avoid Studio 6, Mount Lake Terrace, by all means, STAY AWAY!"

"There was only one elevator working for the entire hotel, and being in a high floor was inconvenient sometimes. Also, there was no connection to the restaurant in the lobby and unable to make and order from your room. Just felt like there could have been more in terms of making sure guests were comfortable with the set backs. Staff at front didn’t seem like they wanted ti be bothered."

"This is a great price for a great location! There was an elevator that wasn’t functioning, but the staff member placed us near the one that was working. They were very nice and helpful! The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also clean and fully stocked with supplies. The laundry area was conveniently located and reasonably priced."

"Stayed at Element Seattle Redmond while traveling with family and children and would not recommend this hotel. The cleanliness standards were unacceptable from the moment we arrived. There was leftover food from previous guests left in the pantry area, dirty cups with fingerprints, and overall housekeeping was clearly not up to Marriott Bonvoy standards. We also discovered empty conditioner dispensers in the shower, which further reflected poor attention to detail. Customer service was equally disappointing. We repeatedly had to ask for proper bedding for the pullout bed, and after requesting housekeeping while out all day, we returned in the evening to find our room had not been cleaned at all. When we spoke to management, there was little concern or apology shown. Manager Isaac was rude and unprofessional and asked, “Do you still want your room cleaned?” instead of addressing the issue properly. I also emailed General Manager Yvonne Gilbert directly regarding these concerns and never received any response or follow-up. That level of disregard after multiple cleanliness and service issues is extremely disappointing. This stay added unnecessary stress to what was supposed to be a family birthday trip. I expect much better cleanliness, professionalism, and customer service from a Marriott property and would not stay here again."

"Great room. Clean comfortable with plenty of amenities. We loved the natural woods. The little antique details. Extra touches. We had a bit of an accident and front desk was quick to provide first aid kit. Very assessable to downtown area. Close to bus routes and has a lot of food options nearby. We would definitely stay here again."

"Truly an incredible hotel with very friendly staff who greet you upon arrival and answer all your questions. Amenities were very clean. Hotel is in a great location with a lot of restaurant variety and only about a 5-10 minute walk from Pike Market. Hotel also offers a shuttle to the nearby cruise ship port. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to experience Seattle."
