"Now that I have stayed around SeaTac (my family moved to Seattle in 1857 and my brother and sister live on the Eastside) I can definitely state that the Red Lion is the best value motel in that area. It is next to a noisy parking lot which means that the shuttle bus is shared with the Red Lion. But it is so close to the terminal that unless you’ve got too much luggage, you won’t need a shuttle bus. Although I am tired of the almost universal one-half-ply toilet paper, the only amenity missing from higher grade motels is the coffee maker. Also, you can walk to the light-rail terminal and take the tram to catch a bus to anywhere in the greater Seattle area (but not Tacoma). I will be staying here on all my trips to Seattle because with today’s messed up airlines, it is ALWAYS better to stay the first and last night 5 minutes from the check-in or baggage pickup."

"Much nicer than we were expecting for the price. Room was clean, comfortable and modern. Location is great, easy walk to restaurants, the space needle, pikes place and the aquarium.
Staff were great with directions and suggestions. Will stay here again next time we're in Seattle. "
