"We are absolutely kicking ourselves for booking only 1 night at the Schloss Hotel. With all the previous hiking, walking about and commuting we did in Switzerland before getting to Zermatt, we could've used at least 3 days & nights. Hotel is tucked away literally right across the street from the train station so that was so convenient. Schloss is very beautiful with an amazing Wellness area. We really loved the pool with its in-pool lounge and hot tub feature. We didn't have time to make use of the other amenities which we regret but next time! Schloss Hotel is an epic experience!"

"Loved this hotel! We booked two double rooms and both had lovely balconies and views. Bathrooms were large, the beds were very comfortable and the location was close to everything. The hotel staff was wonderful arranging pick up and drop off for our train and helping us with late lunch after other eateries had closed for the lunch break. We will stay here again!"

"The location was great. It was right in the heart of everything. Easy walk from the train station. The complementary breakfast was fantastic. The gentleman who checked us in what's very known knowledgeable and friendly. Loved the view from our balcony. The mini fridge was very handy. Stay just a hop, skip and a jump away from the downtown area by booking yourself in at the Hotel Italia.

If you're traveling on a budget, you will be happy to find that there's a broad range of lower-priced lodgings in the vicinity of Monterosa. The Hôtel Monboso and the Residenza Del Sole are two of the better options around. Other hotels in the cheaper range are the Hotel Genzianella and the Le Chalet.

If you are hunting for additional accommodation choices, the Mountain Exposure - Luxury Apartments and the Hotel Riffelalp Resort 2222m are 19 miles and 17 miles from the heart of Monterosa. 19 miles out of town stands the Hotel Firefly. The Riffelhaus 1853 is also near, 17 miles away.

How to Get to Monterosa

Flying in and out of Turin International Airport is one way to get to Monterosa. From there, it's approximately 40 miles to the downtown area. If you'd like to stay nearby, the Jet Hotel and the Casale Ricci Bed & Breakfast are a couple of hotel options to check out.
