"The beds and pillows were not the best, but I have experienced worse. It was quiet over the offices below. The bar opened under their pavilion instead of inside, which was nice to be outside. They do have a fire pit closer to the front of which we asked to use, no wood provided so we got some, we know people there. 5 minute walk to town center, convienient for wedding reception. Had a good time in Buckhannon!! "

"The employees Sherri and Pam were extremely helpful when I checked-in. The storm had knocked out the power and I was unprepared to stay at a hotel with my animals. Sherri helped me get them out of the car and into my room. It could've been horrible but those 2 ladies made my stay so much easier. "

"We had a great stay here at the Muskie-Lounge River Retreat!! We were here for my son’s wedding. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. The Tenney’s were flexible on check-in times and allowed us to get in a bit early to be able to shower/change from traveling before our rehearsal dinner. Evenings spent on the deck around the fire was very relaxing!! Would for sure bring the family back again!"

"We had wonderful time. It was a gorgeous place to stay. Loved how it was in a wooded area away from others. The house was well kept and clean. The only inconvenience was the host would show up without any notice. Coming to check to see if we needed the trash taken or needed anything else is nice and fine but would have liked a notice that they were coming by."

"We have gone to the area every year for Thanksgiving week for 4 years now. We have family in the area and my husband hunts. What a great and convenient place for us as it is close to family. House was better than expected. It was very clean and check in was very easy. Brenda was very accommodating as we drove from Florida overnight. I would highly recommend a stay here and would definitely book again in the future."

"Excellent weekend getaway, so peaceful and relaxing. The layout is perfect and we had everything we needed to cook our meals. It snowed and was cold outside so we didn't venture out but I can imagine that the view would be spectacular in the summer months. "
