“We were here for one night and enjoyed the property. Property was as described. Beds were comfy and it was nice to have a Keurig with a few k-cups to get the day started. Communication with manager was spot on.”

“There was nothing that I can think of that we needed while there except maybe a spider detector. This place couldn’t have been more conducive to our needs. The nearby park was beautiful to walk to. There are plenty of churches to choose from. We felt very relaxed and at home. The only thing that creeped me out was the big spider in my bed and one in the shower the next morning. Both of which were obliterated. Thanks!”

“My friends and I stayed here over a long weekend for a wedding in Davenport, and we had the best time. The house is super cute, quaint, and quiet. Dane came right to our rescue when the front door lock wouldn't budge; he came over in less than five minutes and fixed it for us! He is the best. He graciously gave us a tour of the mansion and I cannot sing his praises enough. “We were in town for our daughter’s pinning ceremony at St Ambrose so we weren’t at the rental much. It worked good for our family. Maybe I misssed it in the description, but the house sets up on a hill and there are some slopes going to the property and the stairs are a little steep. My mother usually doesn’t do steep things well since her knee replacement but she still did okay. He was great to work with and was very accommodating with anything we neeeded!!!”

“We enjoyed the house and the backyard. The steps leading up to the house could use repairs. I almost fell a couple of times. The next time we stay, I will bring my own pillows because the ones we had were very flat. Overall we enjoyed the stay and the quietness of the neighborhood.”

“When we first arrived, there were some dirty dishes and some other cleaning issues left by the previous guests. The previous guests just put their dirty dishes in the cupboards instead of cleaning them. The hosts made it right immediately. The fenced in yard was great for our dog and small kids. The kitchen and stove were great as I love to cook. The neighborhood is great and so close to shopping. The hosts were fantastic! I would highly recommend staying here, and I will stay here again.”

“This is such a neat historic home with lots of room for the 8 of us to spread out and also be together around the table playing games. The weather didn't quite cooperate the night we were planning to have a fire, but there is a fire ring with plenty of wood available and lots of outdoor seating. The backyard is large and fenced, and we were glad to see the cornhole game (even though I am possibly the worst player ever). Communication was great! I still cannot believe how big the bedrooms are,...

“The property was handy for our stay. Very clean and tidy. Stairs were pretty steep and you need to watch your step, especially in the dark. It's an older house, but has been pretty nicely updated.”

“It was a nice four room upstairs apartment. It was nice and relaxing. I didn't end up using the TV or the video games included in the stay but it was a nice addition. The toilet tank stopped filling up for some reason and I had to refill it with water from the sink. Other then that a great place to stay for one or two days.”
