“It was very clean, the linens were SPARSE!! No dishtowel, 2 washcloths, 3 towels for 3 people. The email about checkout going to charge for an extra night if not vacated by 10 am seemed harsh and greedy, especially after the cheapness of the less than 1 facecloth per guest and no conditioner. The hardwood floors have a few large holes that could be dangerous. I'd bring my own toiletries and stay again, realizing you cannot use the bathtub and need to bring your own facecloths, no handtowels...

“First: The location is great! Much of NOLA is within walking distance, without the constant noise of the Quarter. The Uptown Mardi Gras parades pass a block away.Second: The beds are crazy comfortable and we woke with no aches or pains, a rarity for hotels and VRBOs. "I doubted booking this hotel because of the average rating I saw on Google, honestly I had low expectations, but it surprised me. Rooms are exactly as they look on the photos, everything was very clean, we had a lot of space as well. As some comments say, there are some details on the infrastructure but nothing very visible or preocupying. For breakfast there were the same options as in any breakfast buffet but the taste of the food was quite good. About the location, it is a short walk to the french quarter and we even came back at night (around 1am) and didn’t have any security problems. For the price, I definitely recommend it. I spent hours looking for other options in NOLA and was very satisfied with this choice 😌"
