“Had a broken toilet and was unable to contact the property manager. Link in the email did not work and there was nothing at the house. Left a note on the table but they never called.”

“We rented for a snowmobiling long weekend for 3 couples, and the place was perfect for that purpose. The issues we had were very small and insignificant (e.g., no basket in the coffee maker). I very much recommend this place, particularly for snowmobiling.”

“Our family of 4 stayed at this house for a short getaway to ride the trails around Newberry. The location has easy access to the trails by sled, as well as a gas station. Being in town, restaurants and grocery stores are nearby and available. The way the driveway is situated makes it easy to pull your trailer in for loading and unloading your equipment. The house was cozy and there was a nice mud room off the back for all your gear. The host was responsive and accommodating. We would stay here……

“Good accommodations for the price. We used this house as a base for road trips each day so we were only there to sleep. Well stocked with supplies and kitchen needs. The attic bedrooms were very hot but we made do with the multiple fans provided. The house had a "rustic/cabin" atmosphere. NOTE: The toilet in the front bathroom leaks leaving a wet floor.”

“It was a wonderful little cozy place to have a getaway weekend. We hiked Tahquamenon falls and this place was a wonderful refuge for our exhausted bodies. In particular the shower was amazing. We love to cook and all of the kitchen amenities really sealed our enjoyment.”

It is also well situated for heading out for day trips to explore many of the recreational and scenic locations in the region. “Place was very clean, had everything anyone could want or need! Communication A+++! Took 2 side by sides and parked in garage at night. Only downfall is to be legal you have to trailer wheelers 2 miles down road to trail head. Was not a big deal to us. If on snowmobiles this would not be the case. Super place with super hosts!!”

We Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend the rock tour with Molly and Chet. We found a ton of yooperlites! The flashlights they provided were excellent and the rock hunting tips they gave us were pivotal to the success and enjoyment of our trip.”

“The home is basically split into 2 halves, with the entrance/mud room being the divider. The first half has two bedrooms containing 7 beds and a full bathroom. The second half of the home is the master bedroom with full bath, living room, and kitchen/dining area. The two sides can only interact by passing through the mud room and up the stairs of the coat locker area. This actually worked phenomenally for us. We're two guys there on business with some hiking mixed in. We each get tons of privacy……
