"I loved sleeping in this tipi. It was something I had always wanted to do. The bed was very comfortable. There was lighting, a small table, a fan. The host at Goat Mountain Lodge was excellent, and very friendly. The lodge has chickens and goats, and a couple dogs, and a llama. Lot's of hummingbirds are on the property feeding, along with ducks. If you love the great outdoors, hanging with animals, seeing the gorgeous stars at night - this lodge is the experience you need. "McNifftyville was an awesome home for our short stay in Salida. The rooms were all inviting, creatively decorated, and comfortable. The kitchen was beautiful and so well stocked. The icing on the cake was the beautiful backyard where we relaxed on the large covered patio in the certified wildlife habitat and got to see so many species of birds. If we ever need a place to stay in Salida again, we will certainly return to McNifftyville."
