“This is a low cost property, but for the low price, it's very good. It's clean and tidy, but certainly not salubrious. It's not particularly conveniently placed relative to the town, but it's on a major bus route--the (very frequent) number 1 route that goes right to the central bus station. There's not much nearby except for a couple of small stores, and the airport is just under a mile away, down a steep hill. That was a good thing for me as I had to walk there. There was a mixup when I asked……

“Interesting experience When I first got to the hotel, it took my driver a good 10 minutes driving around to find the reception. There are no signs. Then, I walked up the stairs to the reception and asked for someone to help with my 3 heavy bags, the woman at the desk just looked at me. Meanwhile, my driver thankfully, carried all 3 bags up the stairs in the time she’d managed to call a colleague. The colleague brought my bags to the room but first was treating me as if I was a friend he……

“Just not that this is an escape.from everyday life. There aren't any major restaurants, supermarkets or other commodities near by so walk with any snacks you may like, but the freedom of being in nature, eating local fruits on the property, being able to hear yourself think without distraction was well worth it.”

“Romantic and relaxing with great views of the jungle and ocean. Room could use a little TLC with things like a broken soap dish in the shower, but we are an active outdoor couple and don't need grand comfort. You are in the tropical jungle so expect bugs. The voice of the jungle speaks at night. As we are active travelers we spent much time exploring the island and scuba diving , then would come back to our room to cool off in the pool and relax with the million dollar view!
