Practice the art of "liming" at some of the top hot spots in Grenada. What is "liming"? It is a local tradition on the island of Grenada and you can find "liming" experts around every corner. Once you understand what "liming" is, you will understand what makes it such a wonderful place to visit. Simply put, "liming" is relaxing, having a beer, listening to good music, and enjoying the company of the locals. Choosing the best cheap hotel deals in Grenada does not mean a lack of fun times while visiting.

When you book rooms as Grenada hotel packages, you might find yourself touring one of the many historical plantations on the island. If you would rather reserve a spot with a cheap Grenada hotel deal, you will be free to select from other area attractions such as one of the waterfalls. Swimming under a waterfall is a romantic and refreshing change from the average swim experience.

Grenada hotel deals are also available for people who want to experience the thrill of an ocean-front view of pristine waters and crystal clear skylines. The local fun has just begun as you wander into the cultural town that offers carnivals, eco-tours, and scuba diving. If that is not enough, hiking in one of the national parks offers views that will take your breath away as you go in search of leatherback turtles and peace of mind. Just remember that you are not allowed to take the wildlife home as a souvenir.

One of the most endearing features of Grenada is the rainforest areas. Enjoy the tropical backdrop and see what it is like to live in an area covered in beauty as the leaves glisten with freshly fallen rain. After a day of touring, a shopping spree in the district will help you get an authentic feel for the island. That is where you will find local spices, rum, and herbal remedies to spice the night up.

"A very special place for a stress free vacation"
What Spice Island Beach Resort manages to do, almost uniquely well, is combine all the ingredients imaginable for a vacation ideal to recover from the stress of everyday life. And to do it consistently well. We stayed for a week and in that time every aspect of the service was faultless and delivered with a smile by a team who really seemed to care that we had what we wanted. And the owning family was always visibly present. From the greeting as arrived to when we were waved off, all was super efficient whilst being warm and friendly. Aside from all the things you expect from a top class establishment there were little touches such as fresh slices of Aloha Vera appearing in our room when we returned from an outing with a couple of irritable insect bites. Apparently nearly 6 in 10 guests were return visitors and it's not hard to see why. The Sea Grape suite really did open onto the beach with the magic of dawn and sunset. The suite was comfortable and spotless, and serviced twice daily. The food was extremely good from the fresh and varied breakfasts to the superbly done evening meals - the major difficulty being the tendency to overeat. House wines included in the inclusive deal were perfectly adequate and plentiful. Cocktails were lovely from the fruit punches we took a liking to during the day to some delicious rum based ones we chose after sundown. The front desk sorted interesting excursions so we got all round Grenada - nutmeg, rum, chocolate and rainfore

"Really nice resort, just research your room before"
The resort overall is very nice and very well kept. The food was great at pretty much every restaurant. Our main complaint was that we booked an ocean view pink gin with outdoor soaking tub and we were kind of disappointed. The ocean "view" was just a sliver of ocean over the roof of a building in front of us and you definitely couldn't see it if you were in the tub. We had a problem with crickets all on our room waking us up during the night chirping by our bed/in our bath/etc. We moved rooms after the second night and instead of upgrading us we did get a beach front room but no tub at all. The resort was only 30% full so there were definitely rooms available. Also, know that if you do not have a butler you will not have any alcohol or snacks in your room or be able to order any room service. Only the guests with butlers are able to do that so it was kind of disappointing after paying so much money for our honeymoon.
