“My husband and I had such a magnifcent stay at Hollee's property! The property was impeccable and was the getaway we so much needed. The location was perfect (close enough to the small towns, hiking trails, etc., yet far enough to make feel you are escaping the hustle and bustle of life). Waking up to the sounds of birds chirping and the babbling brook was so serene. Truly a mountain paradise where you can simply escape. Hollee thought of everything in making this the perfect stay, and she……

“Such a nice place, even better than the pics. Love the cabin theme decor, beautifully decorated. Lots of room inside and out for a family to spread out. Thanks for keeping the kitchen well-stocked and leaving condiments/spices and kitchen supplies; we enjoyed cooking and preparing multiple meals. We were lucky to have perfect weather and spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the mountain views and fire pit. We weren't expecting such nice weather; I wish we had brought cornhole/outdoor games.……

“My husband and I stayed here for a week with our small terrier; it truly felt like our little home in the woods. We fell asleep to the sound of the creek behind the cabin, and enjoyed waking up to the birds and wind in the trees. The property is phenomenal; it exceeded our expectations in every way! The photos don’t do it justice. Everything was well stocked and we didn’t run into any issues. It truly was so comfortable; our favorite spots were the rocking chairs on the porch and the swing out……

The cabin was equipped with enough cookware and dishes which made it easy for us to cook all of our meals. The community was very quiet. I would highly recommend this cabin.”

“Great setting and amenities. Just right for 2 people. Watch for oncoming traffic at blind hill spots on the long concrete driveway and make sure you're able to climb a small circular staircase to the loft. Say hi to the friendly cows in the neighborhood! It's a bit of a ride to Hendersonville but there are some good food trucks nearby. Wonderful place.”

“The house was wonderful with lots of space for all of us. We went on walks each day and the area was so enjoyable to explore. The house was still decorated for the holidays which was such a nice surprise. Would definitely stay there again.”

“We come here at least once a year and will continue to do so. The views are wonderful and comparable to what we would normally have to drive an extra 1.5 hours to experience. From the roomy hot tub to the completely stocked kitchen to the smart TV on which you can watch all your streaming shows, there is nothing else I could add to make this vacation destination any better.”

“We had a peaceful stay at the cabin, even having two young children with us. The cabin's proximity to the grocery store in Lake Lure was convenient. The cabin is on a private road with some camping neighbors. I enjoyed spending time on the veranda, and the coffee provided was a lovely addition. Although we didn't use the hot tub. Firewood was provided and it was very thoughtful. The hosts were communicative and friendly throughout our stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.”

“This was the perfect property for our family, and within 15 minutes of the Tryon International Equestrian Center. The property was so peaceful and the wrap-around deck has us designing our next home to be built around a wrap around deck! That deck was an incredible feature of the property, and it ended up being where we spent most of our time while on the property. The inside of the house was everything we needed, with a very functional full kitchen to make home-cooked meals when we had time.……

“It was a great gateway. It feels like you are in a tree house waking up to the birds in the window every morning. Fenced patio is a very nice touch for the furry babies. Very central to the local restaurants and supermarket. I will definitely be booking another stay.”

“This is probably the 10th time we have stayed here and it is a very peaceful place to stay. The house is set up well and has all you need. We enjoy the fenced in yard and porch so the dog can roam freely in and out. It is a great getaway and we made our reservations for the fall break before we left.”

“We enjoyed our stay. It was very nice to be so close to Black Mountain, one of our favorite towns. The hot tub was nice, but might want to check the chemical levels. Just a few minutes in and we were both itching, maybe the chlorine was too high. It's probably time to upgrade the couch and chair in the living room area. The leather or vinyl is peeling and the support system is sinking a bit. The place also really needs a deep clean. We have 3 pets ourselves, which we did not bring with us, so……

“This was an amazing place to gather our family for a late Christmas celebration. Family came from as far away as California and as close as Fairview. We had so much fun swimming, hiking, playing basketball and pool. The indoor pool was spectacular and very comfortable, even in February! We all decided it would be fun to come back in the spring or fall.”

“If you’re thinking of staying at Cherry Mountain Farm, book your trip now! When I saw the photos of the house and farm on Vrbo, I thought it looked great but being there was truly amazing. The house is stunning, the porch has two seating areas, the farm is breathtaking, the animals are so much fun, and Debbi and Craig are wonderful.
