“THE ANCIENT BEARS DEN at The forgotten Forest, was completely as advertised. Movie memorabilia all throughout the house. The planted rooftops were an awesome accessory. A place was clean and comfortable. Everything was as expected, complete with its own "precious"if you're a fan of the movies you will love this place! The whole FORGOTTEN FOREST, is amazing.”

“Great cabin in the Smoky Mountains that was clean and exactly as described in the listing.However, we ran into a couple of issues during our stay:Musty Liners: Both shower curtain liners had a strong, sour smell as if they were left in the washing machine too long.Lack of Amenities: For a group of 5 people staying for 7 days, we were only provided 5 bath towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, and 1 trash bag.This is the first VRBO we have ever stayed at where we were expected……

“The house was in need of a thorough dusting upon arrival, and there were several soft spots in the flooring that were concerning. The temperature inside the house never got below 72 degrees, making every room feel hot and uncomfortable during our stay. Additionally, the pictures in the listing were misleading and did not accurately reflect the actual condition or appearance of the house. Overall, we were disappointed because the property did not meet expectations based on the listing.”

“The bed linens were dirty, with hair and crumbs on the pillow and sheets. Luckily, we had sleeping bags and pillows. Mold was visible on the shower floor, and food debris and crumbs were scattered on the living room floor. When I lifted the edge of the carpet around the coffee table, it appeared that whoever cleaned the place had just swept everything underneath. After a long drive, trying to get comfortable was impossible—the couches were long gone, past their prime, and in need of replacement.……

“Location is excellent and quiet. The rooms were clean. All of us had plenty of room. (4 people) You definitely can have more people and still be comfortable. There is close dining for a quick meal and a grocery store which we did use. I would book this location again. Traveler from KY”

““Close to town” but a 25 minute drive. Had to call for directions as the cabin name was not listed on the sign and Apple Maps wasn’t quite accurate. Linens were terrible, dated bathroom, kitchen and no closet. Didn’t use the hot tub as it looked pretty old and would recommend a new cover. Could definitely improve the amenities (and silverware) had to wait 24 hours to get wifi, the username and password provided did not work.”

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property Our family really enjoyed the pool table and the layout allowed us to spread out a little when needed. The pool was a bit of a hike down a steep hill, but there is parking there so you can drive. While the space didn’t feel dirty necessarily, it didn’t feel “company clean” either (e.g: ring in the toilet and spider webs/cobb webs in corners and on the stairs). The first morning we were there, I discovered the coffee maker wasn’t working, and……
