For the price of the room, we were really disappointed - pretty basic (but clean) and the bathroom could really do with some updating - shower really wasn't great, not much pressure and head clogged up with limescale. The cottage is lovely! Well-appointed, spotless, cozy and quiet. Well-situated and an easy and quick walk to town for food, shopping and a museum! The hosts responded quickly and friendly to questions and concerns. Highly recommended and we will be back.

Pets welcome which is a big bonus, ideally located for saffron Walden and walks.A lovely historic house albeit extremely expensive compared to other similar properties that we have stayed in.
