“I loved the downstairs and the restaurant. I felt the rooms could use better comforters and decoration. It wouldn’t take much to upgrade them aesthetically. The music stage in front of the lake was not pleasant to look at, but it probably helps their business model.”

So rich in American Revolutionary history, the old mansion is an historic relic that is kept up-to-date by its current owners. “We came to see a concert at turning stone. All the hotels in the area hiked up their prices so why not have privacy, scenery, and quiet for half the cost of a hotel room? Fell in love with this place, it was perfect for a mama taking her oldest out for the night! Plus, what are the chances you’re gonna see Grateful Dead bears in the woods ? Especially when your husband traveled all over in his late teens, early 20’s going to over 50 Grateful Dead shows and we are also Yankees fans? It’s……
