The rooms are clean, and there is a nice patio area in the middle in addition to an appealing pool and jacuzzi area. In the mornings, the hotel provides hot coffee, tea, a variety of juices, muffins, bread, yogurt, blueberries, and creaks, definitely enough to start the day. Perhaps the best feature info the West Beach Inn is its location as guests only need to cross the street to get to the beach area and a little further to State Street with its ample selection of eating and drinking establishments. My wife and I chose Santa Barbara Roasting Company for coffee, Dargan’s Irish Pub for Guinness, and Playa Azul on Santa Barbara Street near Canon Perdido for a wonderful Playa Azul tostada with halibut. It was so good that we had it 2 days in a row.
