With a beautifully landscaped and fenced backyard and all of the necessary amenities, Rise N Shine is the perfect Michigan vacation destination for you and your loved ones! This charming cottage is located within walking distance of downtown Saugatuck’s shops and restaurants (a half-mile west), which also makes for a relaxing bike ride. The property is also only a mile from the area's most popular beach, Oval Beach. Quieter Douglas Beach (two miles southwest) and Saugatuck Dunes State Park (four miles north) are nearby as well.

After a gorgeous day spent out on Lake Michigan, relax on the deck or out front inside the three-season, screened front porch, furnished with a patio table set and comfortable lounge chairs and equipped with a split heating/air-conditioning unit.

Additional amenities include a private washer/dryer, outdoor shower, gas grill, air-conditioning, two dog crates, and access to streaming TV services using your own accounts.

Great spot for family with young kids and dog

We had a great stay in Saugatuck this past week! It was the perfect location! We walked downtown daily and were a short drive to Oval Beach and Douglas. We are a family of 5 plus our dog. We brought our own pack n play and kept the baby with us in the master bedroom. The 2 bedroom and 2 bath was perfect for our family. The screened in porch was lovely for some more indoor space.

Great stay!

This property was adorable. It was perfect for a girls weekend. When we showed up the driveway had not been plowed so that was a small challenge but otherwise everything else was great! The beds were so comfortable! We would definitely go back again!

Wonderful Home!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home! Everything was very clean and neat. It was nicely furnished and very comfortable. The home was well stocked with anything we might need. Our favorite room was the large screened in porch, where we spent a lot of time! The neighborhood was nice and quiet and a great place to walk. We love visiting Saugatuck and look forward to staying in this home again!

Wonderful

What a charming home! Great care has been put into every detail of his house, which is lovely and well appointed throughout. We especially loved the all weather porch and spent lots of time there playing games and watching tv. The yard is on the smaller side, but it was nice to have for our dog. Town is accessible by foot if you’re willing to walk just a bit. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Place

This was our third visit and still our favorite place in Saugatuck. Nicely furnished and well equipped house. A short walk from town but a world away. Can’t wait to return!

Tiptoe through the tulips

The house is beautiful and comfortable. Close to downtown Saugatuck. Beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Comfortable beds and well appointed amenities. Close to driving to Lake Michigan beaches. We came for the Holland tulip festival. Which was beautiful.

Everything about the stay was awesome!

This was a perfect place for us to stay as I had to do a job in the area and my family wanted to join me. The house is great! The location was perfect and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Walking distance to town, everything was great! The home was immaculate. They even had a toy and treat for our dog. There was a small issue with the lighting, but the hosts were completely responsive and willing to help everything got figured out with ease.

Excellent for families & dogs!

We loved our time at Rise N Shine with our 1.5 year old toddler & 10 year old dog. The house is very well stocked and was incredibly clean. We were pleased with the ceiling fans in both bedrooms & the large tub in one of the bathrooms. The landscaping & fenced backyard are beautiful, such an added bonus for us! We easily walked downtown each day and wandered the quiet surrounding streets for a family walk each evening before bedtime. My husband and I enjoyed the screened in front porch during nap time! We’re already looking forward to another stay next year!

Cute and cozy

Overall, the home was lovely. Well decorated. It looked loved. It is small, but super cozy. There were 2 of us (mom and son) and any more would have felt crowded. There were some issues with hot water and the stove, but we managed. Backyard was perfect for our 5 month old puppy - safe and secure. The neighborhood is very nice and walked to the town of Saugatuck and found other nice paths. We would return.

Great house for dog lovers but beware snow

Perfectly cleaned when we checked into this property at which we have stayed many times including when it was locally managed by Lakeshore Lodging not national Vacasa corporation. With snow over several days we were unhappy to discover that the property management did not include snow shoveling— porch and stairs leading then to the walkway to car ( no garage). We shoveled this 5 times ourselves ( with a bad back not my idea of a vacation.). The mgt said they provide plowing of driveway, and since the car was in the short driveway they did clear the space behind our parked car. However, I will not stay here again in winter with the need to shovel over multiple days with no help and to carry suitcases down slippery porch stairs to depart. Mgt should at least provide shoveling and I believe this was done during previous stays under earlier local mgt. Vacasa does shovel snow before guests arrive they say, but not while they are there. Knowing this in advance would have influenced our decision and stay in December.

Fantastic House

We always enjoy our stay at Rise 'N Shine - it is a beautiful and well maintained property. It is close enough to downtown Saugatuck for a stroll for dinner, and far enough away so as to avoid the crowds of summer visitors. First rate in all respects!

Rise N Shine Saugatuck

Lovely stay at Rise N Shine! Very nice cottage close to town. Loved the enclosed porch, open layout, comfy beds,up to date appliances, dual head shower and fenced in yard. One of our best stays in Saugatuck!!!

Nice area for a getaway

Nice property layout and linens were clean. There is a bit of a smell, but somewhat to be expected with it being dog friendly focused. You get a response in a timely manner to address any questions which helped.

Perfect get-away spot

This property was everything it was advertised! The house was spotless and really well laid out. We had our two dogs with us and the fenced in yard was perfect for them. We had a perfect time doing absolutely nothing for a few days, which is exactly what we were looking for! Will go back again!

Perfect house

Quick Get A Way

Wedding wk-end Get away

This property is in a great location. One of the main reasons chosen, close to the wedding venue we were attending. Also, we could bring our dog. Sadly, we lost our fur baby since the booking, but decided to keep the reservation based on the great reviews & being so close to the wedding venue. Close to downtown & local attractions. Overall, the house is nice & decorated very cute. However, we found the living room/ kitchen area & sunroom to have a very strong terrible odor. Even after opening windows to air out the house, didn’t get rid of the odor. We chose the property based on many positive reviews for cleanliness, we found it lacking overall in this area. For the amount we pay per night & extra charges for cleaning etc. I expect better, especially when I’m expected to take out all the trash, wash the towels used & remove all the used bedding before we check out. Check in/out was made very easy. House equipped nicely with essentials .
