“Over many years, I have stayed in many hotels and houses. I own rental homes on the island of Kauai for the past 36 years. Our stay at the Western States inn was wonderful, the room was very clean with all items and facilities in good working order upon arrival and throughout our stay to departure. It was hot during our time in San Miguel, night and day, the air conditioning was great and ran well. The Manager, Prietes, was very attentive and pleasant, he checked in with us daily to make sure……

“The breakfast was very nice, the staff was excellent. We stayed four days. My husband and I have stayed many times before. However this visit the elevator was out the entire time. My husband and I both have physical disabilities, so getting to the third floor for breakfast was a real problem. I wish I would have checked or have been notified before our stay that the elevator was not working. In addition the ice machine was also out of order.☹️”

“This was our first time staying at Hampton Inn, and we had a great experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations. There was a nice variety of options, including eggs, sausage and bacon, a waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, and bread. We also enjoyed the outdoor pool and gym, which were well-maintained and added to the overall experience. The only downside was having to pay……

“It was a good location. That's why we chose it. But it was very "bare bones." The soap/shampoo in the shower was awful. There was a smell of smoke even though I thought we had a non smoking room. And when we woke up there was no hot water. It was remedied after my husband went to speak to the front desk. I would say the bathroom.waa clean but the shower has mold in it.”

“On the whole thing is good .the free breakfast is very good, but the room curtains are not overall shading curtains, which can not block the light in the middle, which affects the quality of sleep. at night, the lights on the street are very bright through the room and can not fall asleep.”
