"Value for money. Bathroom's ceiling was low and no proper ventilation making the bathroom smell of piss. Staff were kind and attentive. Location is just minutes away from the station. The Kameido place is lovely as it is mostly locals - meaning the food prices are reasonable and the mall has sale prices that were cheaper compared to other cities."

"This was the first stop on our two week Japan trip. I didn't realize I booked the "executive" package, so when we arrived after a long flight and jet lagged I thought they had the wrong reservation! The service was amazing! We were placed on one of the highest floors with a great view of the city. The rooms were excellent. Comfortable and quiet. The executive package included daily breakfast. Ironically, (as I would normally never pay for this) the food was some of the best we had our entire trip! We looked forward to breakfast more than a lot of other things we did those first few days. Our stay was only three days, which was perfect. We even got to experience an earthquake (!). Quite memorable. Thank you to al the staff for always making us feel so welcomed. The Asakusa View Hotel was definitely a stand-out stay for us. Wouldn't hesitate to rebook."

"Overall a nice stay. Rooms were clean and spacious. Like a lot of other hotel rooms in Japan they were also noticeably quiet! Only complaint was a moldy smell from the bathtub drain. We just shut the door to the bathroom to make it less strong. Location is amazing for the area. Every amenity you could want within a few blocks. Grocery store across the street, 7-11 around the corner, etc."

"L'hotel et la chambre était très propre, très bien insonorisé. Le personnel très accueillant, souriant et aidant. La chambre un peu petite, mais sans surprise, comme sur les photos tout était très bien, beaucoup de petites commodités, comme du thé, café, brosse à dent, rasoir et autres. Situé très près de quelques restaurants et du transport en commun. Nous avons été très satisfait et avons séjourné 5 nuits"

"I would rate the property a 5 star but for the fact that it is a 15m walk from the nearest public transport - the Tawaramachi metro station. On hot steamy Tokyo days this walk as one heads out for the day to discover Tokyo and its many attractions leaves one drenched in sweat. Ditto on the return home. Even late at night. Otherwise an excellent place to stay with lots to do in the neighborhood itself."

"We booked 3 rooms for our family and stayed for a total of 6 nights. Upon arrival, they had already sent our luggages, which we had shipped over from another town, to our rooms. Amenities like toothbrush, coffee, razors, etc were available for us to pick up and choose from at the lobby. The rooms were a decent size, compared to the tiny ones we’ve previously stayed at in Tokyo. We had the option of choosing to do room cleaning, replenishing towels and bed covers, or no service, which we had to choose from through the television. The location was perfect for us. It was near the Sensoji Temple, Don Quiote, Rox, and a wide array of food establishments. The nearest train station was about a 5 minute walk. We would definitely stay here again."

"This place is probably the most underrated BUT amazing place to stay in Tokyo for solo adventurers or couples. It is right across the street the street from Asakusa Station which connects directly to Narita INTL airport. I would ‘HIGHLY’ recommend this hotel just for that fact alone! The attached restaurant and facilities were great. I would definitely make this hotel my home base if traveling back to Tokyo."
