"I enjoyed my stay in Shkoder. The hotel was conveniently situated between the Castle and the city centre. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. However, the hotel is in need of modernisation, rooms are basic and mine was quite noisy. My room was cheap, so represented reasonable value for money. "

"An excellent stay at Hotel Aleksi. The family-ran hotel really goes above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness. The free use of bikes really made the city available, from swimming at Shiroka to the Mesi Bridge. When we came back from our excursions, they always met us with a smile, and even with refreshments. "This is THE BEST hotel we stayed at in all of Albania. Incredible service and hospitality, room was new and beautifully designed. The price was so reasonable. We cannot recommend this place enough.
