Enjoy the peace and serenity of the White Mountains when you stay at this cozy Cabin in the upscale gated Torreon Community. Take a morning walk along the paths that traverse the golf course and lakes. Relax on the front porch surrounded by Pines. Head over to Torreon Grille at the clubhouse to indulge in delicious food and beverages while enjoying a breathtaking view of the course.
Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and casual travelers alike, this property is situated about 2.5 miles from the shores of Fool Hollow Lake with many hiking trails, lakes and dining options nearby! Pinetop/Lakeside is about 20 minutes away and Sunrise Ski Resort is about 45 minutes away.

Inside the casita you'll find a kitchenette equipped with a coffee maker, George Foreman grill, microwave, air fryer, countertop convection oven, full size refrigerator/freezer and sink. Please note there is no stove/oven and the coffee maker is drip which requires ground coffee which is not provided. There is also a 4 top dining table.

A new King Pillowtop mattress set was added at the end of August 2022 for optimal comfort along with 680 or 800 thread count cotton bed sheets. There is a comforter as well as a light blanket available for temperature preference.

The bathroom has a double sink vanity with a walk- in shower. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a hair dryer are provided.

Also included is wireless internet access and a Smart TV which can be viewed from a seating area that includes 2 chairs & a small table.

Pets may be considered and require the owners approval prior to booking

Perfect place for 2
Very cozy! The property was very clean and what it said to be. Easy access at front gate and easy access in house. Had basic essentials. I didn't realize it didn't have a stove until right before (my error, the listing was accurate). Lol. So plan for that. Enjoyed coffee on the porch and the neighborhood. You won't be disappointed. We will be back.

The unit is exactly as advertised. It is similar inside to a nice hotel room with a kitchenette. Only its set in the trees, very private, and one quarter of the cost of a hotel room! Everything was clean, the bed was amazing. The porch is a great place to enjoy morning coffee. I highly recommend this unit.

For the price of the stay and location everything was great, if it had a small ac unit wound have been nice due to the heat during the day, You really cant stay in the house until the evening hours when it gets cooler. More of a spring, fall and winter unit.

Comfortable Casita in Torreón
Really enjoyed our stay in this cozy Casita. Located in the Torreón community, this property is comfortable and well maintained. This studio-style cabin had everything we needed for our 4th of July stay. Check in was easy and communication with the owner was very smooth. If you are a couple looking for a place to stay in Show Low, we recommend it.

Quick trip place
Great for the weekend. Small but cozy. Window in door needs a curtain or something sun comes through right to the bed. Gate code to area should be provided with the address and door code. Boyfriend didn't like the bed. I didn't mind it.

Quiet Little “Torreon” Cabin in the woods
This property is exactly as described in the listing and photos, so they provide a very clear picture of the rental property in detail. It is a guest house on a larger property with a main house. Check in was easy and all communication with the manager was timely and all questions answered swiftly. A new king bed was just put in the rental, was comfy and the headboard removed so the large window was no longer blocked as described in a previous review. A nice bedside lamp provided indirect lighting as well. So it was apparent great efforts were taken to address previous renter input. My stay was comfortable and it was nice to stay close to the Country Club as I was playing in an “invitational” member-guest tournament. Golf Privileges nor access to club pool or fitness center come with this property. However, the general public have access to the bar and restaurant at the club. This is a studio, so it is one room plus bathroom. I enjoyed coffee on the patio every morning. I brought my own coffee, filters, creamer, sweeter, salt, pepper, and simple food prep items, condiments, extra toilet paper, paper towels as only starter items are provided in this unit. There is no garbage disposal, dishwasher, or stove as described. No washer dryer as described. Bring what you need! Large refrigerator and ice maker were great. It was perfect for my need to be near the Torreon Club and friends who live a few houses from this property. Thumbs up! Thanks for a nice stay.

CUTE LITTLE CABIN IN THE PINES
This property could be a wonderful getaway, unfortunately the set up is not user friendly. Let's start with the bed. An over sized headboard that totally covered a window that would have been nice to look out, and foot board to match taking up space. The owners have taken a bad mattress and made it worse by applying a 4'' topper that is extremely uncomfortable. No sleep the first night so we removed it the next day. The mattress was somewhat better but quite old with no support so another sleepless night. Our third and last night was no better and we both felt as if we had been hit by a truck when we tried to get out of bed. Thank God we brought our own pillows. The bed only had a sheet and comforter so no in between for temperature. No lightweight blanket available. The front porch was wonderful, but we felt uncomfortable watching the blinking light on the camera located on the ceiling positioned on our chairs. There was no front screen door so letting it open which was nice also let in the flies and whatever. (no flyswatter) When closed the door had no covering for the window, so when the sun comes up it shines in your face in bed. No room for chairs in the cabin because of the over sized frame on a small queen bed, and the way the room is set up. Nice huge closet with over sized doors which is really a waste of space in this little cabin. The only lighting was on the ceiling. No microwave dishes and since there is no stove that would have been handy. Great water pressure though. This place could be fantastic, just needs a little remodeling indoors.

My spouse and I stayed in this wonderful cabin for 6 weeks. This beautiful studio is tucked away in the beautiful Torreon gated community. There are plenty of paved walking trails, golfing, etc. The community is thickly wooded with pine trees for that woodsy feel. The Cabin: The picture you see of the bed is what you see when you open the front door to the cabin. I would call this a studio because their is no couch. This was not an issue for us. The queen bed is comfortable to sit or sleep on. Their is a nice kitchenet with full size refrigerator freezer, sink and microwave with all the utensils and dishes you need (There is no stove). The front porch was excellent and was perfect for sitting out on any time of the day. The cabins location is incredible with all the trees and wildlife around. We found the cabin incredibly relaxing and peaceful. The cabin is a few easy miles away from shopping and restaurants. The Host was very responsive and super nice. We definitely recommend this property for a quiet getaway.
