“Excellent ”

“The hotel is being renovated but the property is maintained well. Overall the hotel was in a good location near the highway and a mall. Unfortunately our room smelled really bad and they weren’t able to switch us to a different room or provide any Febreze to try and eliminate the odor. They did compensate me with points though. Breakfast was average and wasn’t stocked very quickly. Felt like they were short staffed.”

“Taking the stairs up to the second floor first set of stairs had no railing carpeting was filthy and there was debris at the bottom of the stairs. A gap that caused you to trip and missing to knobs. Bathroom and sink were stopped up and backed water up into the tub and the same thing happened with the sink an addition to which the sink had no stopper”

“Location and parking were perfect for our first visit to Portland”

“Must stay!! Loved our stay! The highlight of our first trip to Maine. Extremely peaceful, safe and enjoyable stay. Loved walking the beach and watching the sunrise over the water from the room.”

“We loved this place, the location, and the host!”

“Property manager was very kind but a little hard to get a hold of. Owner of the property was amazing and in contact immediately. The house is quaint, cute and perfect for a beautiful stay on the coast. We enjoyed the location more than anything. The owners left a binder with a lot of very helpful information for restaurants, stores, etc. If you want to stay in the area, you can walk almost anywhere. All in all we loved our stay and would return.”

“Great property. Cute place. Note that there are very steep steps to get into the place, which is a conveyed attic.”

“The unit itself has a lot going for it. The layout is well done and made good use of the space. Just be aware that it’s on the second floor, and the winding staircase is more “character-building” than luggage-friendly.The bathroom was probably the weakest part of the unit and could use a little attention, but shower worked and water was hot. The most memorable feature, however, wasn’t listed in the amenities. The property offered a complimentary, full-time “botanical aromatherapy” experience……
