“This is an absolutely beautiful house on a large, gorgeous property. Spacious and clean with to ns of room for our large group. Minutes away from Heaven Hill, Willett and downtown Bardstown but still secluded and private. This was the perfect home base for our bourbon tour.”

“Location was as expected as we knew the area. It’s on a farm and has outdoor space for kids to run around. The basement has the air hockey and billiards, but the pictures appeared it was more finished. House was accommodating and had enough space for the time we were not visiting family. The house had a sulfur smell that was a bit overwhelming when entering each time. Overall was fine and as expected for a farm house.”

“This house and property are a perfect place to relax and to get away for the weekend. “The property is beautiful. Lots of rural charm while being close to Bardstown. Our favorite spot was the firepit at dusk. It looks over a field that is lit up with fireflies. The house has tons of antiques and plenty of beds for our group of 10. There is a book with the history of the property which was a nice touch. The skittle game was also popular. Over all it was a great place to come back to after tour distilleries all day. Highly recommended.”

“The home was a wonderful surprise! Surpassed our expectations. The home was welcoming , beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the cows in the pasture was an added bonus. “Our family chose Kentucky to celebrate a milestone birthday & visit Makers’s Mark Distillery. One of the primary reasons we decided on this property was that it was dog friendly. The property itself is warm, inviting and spacious. The owner had great/fast communication —and even stopped by when we couldn’t figure out how to work the television. Throughout our time on the farm, we truly felt like we were being woven into the local fabric. ”

“The views are stunning! Love the idea of a converted container. Great space! It rained for a majority of our trip so the no-wifi was rough. We had a hot spot with us but connection was spotty. The rain generated A LOT of mud which made things a little messy since we had to go out a lot to walk our pup but host was responsive with ways we could try to manage the mess. Would love to visit again in the summer as having the river right there was really cool!”
