Gulf Winds #1106
A 2 bedroom 1 bath condo on the third floor overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. (3rd floor walk up, no elevator.) This condo has an updated bathroom with a large walk in shower, it has a queen bed in the master bedroom, two twins in the second bedroom and a leather futon in living room. Can sleep 6 people. Televisions in both the master bedroom and living room, with Wi -Fi and 1 parking permit is included. Views from the living room and master bedroom of the gulf of mexico and the pool.
It's best feature: The private sundeck for guests of this unit only!! Enjoy your morning coffee, sun bathing or viewing sunsets from your own private rooftop deck. All linens are provided as well as kitchen essentials, pots, pans, dishes, microwave, coffee maker, silverware. There is a coin-op laundry facility on the property.

Come enjoy your St Pete Beach get-away! Literally just cross the street and you are on majestic St Pete Beach enjoying the sand between your toes!

The kitchen has pots, pans and all kitchens essentials to enjoy your vacation. This property offers a heated pool with plenty of seating for guests. You can chat it up with neighbors or relax and keep to yourself and read a book.

There are beach rentals on the beach: $40/day for 2 chairs and cabana/umbrella.
We can also share some local contacts that rent a full set up including chairs/umbrellas/coolers & beach towels for $75 for 1 week. They partner with you and provide delivery directly to your condo.
Please note: some guests leave items behind in closets. And anything in the condo is fair game to use! However, it’s not a guarantee, as its too hard for us to keep up with. (unfortunately people damage things. )

Fantastic view and perfect for a short Christmas break!

We brought our teenage son down with his two best friends. The home was a perfect amount of space and cozy. Great view of the ocean in the morning and an even more incredible sunset.

Location is Incredible

The location of this property is second to none! Steps from the beach, pool and very nice snack bar. Unit is functionally furnished, nothing fancy, but functional. Third floor with no elevator (as advertised) and very clean. Two star accommodations in a five star location and priced accordingly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

This property was great!! The perfect location right across from the beach and walking distance to so many bars, restaurants, stores, etc. Pictures are accurate and as described. Definitely recommend!

Ok Stay but not great

There was a downstairs unit having construction done and stairway inside smelled musty! The building itself is a little run down but inside the condo was clean, however there were no paper towels at all left and only a single roll of toilet paper. There were 5 of us and there was no extra bedding or spare blanket for my daughter to sleep on the futon so we had to pull the top sheets from the other beds up for her to sleep with. The pool was very clean and heated so perfect temperature. The location to the beach was perfect but the neighborhood seemed run down

Great location in clean condo. Condo had plenty of amenities for our small family (beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards). Well appointed kitchen for preparing all meals. Located directly across from the beach that is easily walkable. Paradise Grill across the street was great to grab a quick bite to eat or drink. Condo building is a little old and has thinner windows. Could hear noise from outside pretty easy which is only reason for 4 star review. Not a huge nuisance.

Location = Excellent! Rooftop balcony = Excellent! Pool = Heated and Excellent! Beds were comfortable. The condo was lacking in hand & dish soap. Water was added to the little that was in soap pump. 1 garbage bag, 1 toilet paper and no paper towel but Publix is only 1.5 miles down the road. Could use a good cleaning. Great restaurants within walking distance. Check out Willys if you want a tasty burger. Would definitely come back!

Great Value on St. Pete Beach

Value for the money on St Pete Beach is excellent. The unit is well stocked including beach chairs and a beach canopy. The deck and view is a great feature. The beds were comfortable and the bed and bath linens were clean and comfortable. The condo could use a little TLC in terms of deep cleaning. Also the AC unit ducts need to be cleaned / sanitized; the condo smelled damp. May is peak termite season and this property complex definitely has termites. If you are not there in May, you won’t notice. The amenities at the Gulf Winds (pool etc.) are well maintained. I would stay again, though I would probably want some assurance that they have done a recent AC duct cleaning / deodorizing.

Great views and location on the beach

Roger was very communicative throughout the booking, check-in and checkout process. The condo is very nice and clean. The master bed was very firm, but that's personal preference. Our only issue was the access to the balcony which was limited due to a problem with the door. We partially resolved it to gain access to the balcony (the main reason we booked this property) but then it was resealed before the end of our stay. We lost several days to use the space, which was very disappointing. We would stay again, as long as we had assurance that the entire unit was in working order. The pool, beach access across the street, and the neighborhood are perfect for couples, families or groups.

This was our 2nd time staying at this same condo. As always clean and accomadating. Only down fall was on the weekend parking was terrible. People who were visiting the beach took up the parking spots and we had to park away from the building. Overall it was centrally located and we were able to visit Johns Pass and other places. Upham beach was less crowded and the water was so clear. Already planning our next St.Pete vacation at this condo.

The location was exactly what we were looking for. The first floor of this unit is being renovated due to the hurricane. The entry and such were not super clean but we understand why. We weren't in the unit a lot. Mainly to sleep. Beach & bumming around!

Great overall stay

As the title says, this condo was a great overall stay. My friend and I rented this for Wednesday-Sunday for Memorial Day weekend. The location was awesome; right across the street from the beach, close to Tampa anirport, and right down the street from our favorite bar/restaurant, Rick’s Reef. The place was very accurate to the pictures of the listing and the description, and Roger was great to deal with. Very attentive to questions and provided instructions for a seamless check-in process. The only downfall or complaint that I have is that there were no paper towels provided, only one extra garbage bag, and the bed sheets and pillow cases had stains on them. Other than that I would 10/10 still recommend this unit for nice getaway. Side note: shout out to Linda and Mitch, the retired resident bouncers who were super friendly and provided great company to everyone at the complex who used the pool.

Great location!

First, this is a great location. The walkout patio has a table with chairs and also two lounge chairs (they've seen better days) where you can layout. It was a nice surprise. Second, pay attention to the directions and address. It took me to the complex next door. Also, the address for local deliveries sent them to another street behind me. Overall, would definitely stay here again. Travel for work is perfect.
