“I was under the impression this was a campground and in a way to is but long term living in tents. The bathroom facilities are in a barn basically the door is a shower curtain.Didn't have good vibe so I left without staying.”

“This place has so much potential, but sorry to say it falls short- very short! Our biggest problem with this rental was the overall lack of cleanliness and the misrepresentation of the unit. The pictures and the listed description absolutely do not truthfully represent the unit. It looked abandoned. Cobwebs everywhere, the outside cushions were all damp, moldy, and smelly. Tiki bar full of junk that was damp, moldy and full of cobwebs. The pathway lights down to the dock are ripped out and……

“This truely is such a wonderful place. We were able to enjoy the serenity of the lake and had enough space for everyone. Our stay was on New Years but I can't wait to see it in summer. Water pressure is great, comfortable beds, and the kayaks are a great touch. I really appreciate it, thank you.”

“The structure is a modified shipping container, which folds out rather ingeniously to create a small but functional living space. The amenities fall a little short of what one might expect for a fully stocked lake house. However, it was clean, the AC cold and the shower hot so it fit our needs adequately.The host was available to answer questionsI might suggest curtains on the front glass wall for privacy in the bedroom.”

“Great house, close proximity to uwharrie OHV trails and the zoo. We were able to fit 3 trucks, trailers and rock crawlers between the driveways. Would definitely recommend to any larger groups staying in the area! Only recommendation for the hosts would be make the upper door a lockable entrance door so you could avoid the stairs when possible!”

“We spent our Spring Break at the Barndo and loved it! The house was quirky and fun with plenty of space for our whole family. We enjoyed the amenities, especially the pool table and hot tub. The bedrooms were comfortable and having 2 bathrooms was a plus. The view was beautiful and the yard was nice for our dog to explore on her lead. Josh was a wonderful host, always made himself available and was very accommodating. We would definitely come back!”

“Great place to stay, lots to do and centrally located to many golf courses, My friends and family had more than enough space. Everything was just as described in the package. Neat clean, and tidy. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay, with plenty to do for different people. Most of our group golfed however not everyone was a golfer. and they all found something to do while we golfed, Visit the beach, Paddle board, Corn Hole, pitch horseshoes, or take kids to playground, and……
