“This was a nice big place, clean and good value for the money. Better than a hotel room at any of the cheap hotels in town. Mark and Steve had some excellent freshly ground coffee, sugar and creamers for us to enjoy in the morning. Great location near downtown and the lake, but quieter than where the chain hotels are.”

“We were not able to stay on the cottage. It was messy and uncleaned when we came. Host is not answering. Expedia is also not too helpful with our experience. ”

“We had a disappointing experience during our stay at a VRBO property in Horseshoe Valley. Upon arrival, we found the driveway had not been shoveled, which made it difficult to park and unload our things in the snow. Having said that, it never stopped snowing for 3 days which makes it difficult to keep driveway and stairs clear and safe. To make matters worse, the instructions for accessing the condo were outdated. The process had changed, and we found ourselves stuck outside in the cold with no……

“It was far from the “Perfect Studio” Bedding was not clean, full of stains and the comforter was old and very used. Cupboard doors were all broken. There were dirty towels hanging in the bathroom when we arrived. No hand soap the bottle was empty and the shampoo bottles were broken. Couch was stained and had hair everywhere. Needless to say we left and never stayed the night. Very disappointed. We have put in a claim for a refund. We have yet to have received one. ”
