Three Rivers Petroglyph Site Tours

It is a beautiful old building. I reserved our room through Expedia. They refused to accept the rate of $100.64 from Expedia and charged me $119.12 on top of the $100.64, or so it seems as I look at my card charges. The desk staff was rude, stating they wanted to get rid of 3rd party bookings, but haven't yet. Why is this my fault? I asked for the manager. They didn't know where she was. Then they said she is busy. I said I'd wait. In the meantime, I saw she was talking with her staff. So I went in. She refused to accept the Expedia rate. I was asked if we had booked a dinner slot. We said no; we would consider it. I heard a staff member tell another couple that dinner bookings were booked through 6 and 7, but there were openings at 5. After they left, I said I would take a 5 slot. He looked at me and said they were booked at 5, a party of 21 booked it. He just told the other folks 5 was open. Look, first of all, I am NOT a complainer. It isn't my nature. We got there at 2. I knew the room would be ready at 4, but I wanted to see if we could go early. That would be $25 more. Re the room: 3rd floor, no elevator. I'm 72. Nobody asked if they could help. The AC/heat barely worked and it was noisy. We left it off. The soap was cheap and hard to wash off. The shower came up to my neck. Ancient wallpaper with stains from the AC. The fridge popped all night. Re: Food. Steak was great; potato - ⅓ of a potato sliced thin. Asparagus: 10 short pcs, ⅛" thk. I will NEVER go there again.
