“Beautiful classic Georgian country Pub. Big comfortable room with a huge bathroom. The bed was also big and comfortable. We didn’t eat at the pub so cannot comment on that, but the village has several nice places to eat.”

“We have just returned home after a 2 week stay at Milford House which we highly recommend. The house is clean, spacious and comfortable and everything we could have possibly needed was provided, including a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. The house is in a convenient location, only a minute or two's walk from the centre of the village. A particular highlight was the bedroom in the roof and the sounds of the sheep and cows in the fields nearby! We enjoyed staying in Tideswell……

“The room was lovely although it had roof lights rather than windows which was a shame as the location of the building is breathtaking. The views from the building location are truely stunning, especially as we were there over a spring "heatwave" and it was so beautiful. Because of that, plenty of people were sitting at the fantastic outdoor seating area overlooking the valley. The dinners were excellent which is obviously the other reason it is such a popular pub.
