“Very cute little cottage. It is very clean, has all the comforts of home but away from home. We didn’t expect all the little extras that make our holiday perfect such as tea, coffee, milk and even biscuits! There is everything you need in the kitchen if you want to cook! It is conveniently situated in the village with shops, pubs and restaurants. Location is also near Monsal trail for walking and cycling along all the beautiful dales by the river Rye. “We have just returned home after a 2 week stay at Milford House which we highly recommend. The house is clean, spacious and comfortable and everything we could have possibly needed was provided, including a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. The house is in a convenient location, only a minute or two's walk from the centre of the village. A particular highlight was the bedroom in the roof and the sounds of the sheep and cows in the fields nearby! We enjoyed staying in Tideswell……

“I travelled to Homfirth with my friend as we were attending a gig at the Picturedome which is next door to the Inn. The Inn has recently been renovated to a high standard. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The inn is a beautiful place and the decor is beautiful. We had breakfast, full english which was very good. Our room was nicely decorated and very clean. The staff went the extra mile for us. ”

“We didn’t have hot water for the whole of our stay. We were told it would come back on after the first day and it did not. The next time they said it we wanted to shower we had to do it in another room, however they asked us to share this room key with other people which wasn’t what we thought when booking. The radiator also didn’t work for the whole duration for the stay and as it was a rainy day we struggled having no heating or hot water. Half way through getting ready to go out on the second……
