“We stayed in one of the lakeside rooms which had a beautiful view. Room was slightly cold because of this but reception did provide us with an extra heater. It was my husbands birthday so they provided a gift and prosecco which was lovely. Food was great, lovely staff and clean hotel. Book ahead for the spa to avoid disappointment. ”

“Overall I am very satisfied with OYO. The reception manager is ver nice and helpful and one I must mention is the breakfast. It is very good and delicious and there are a few you can choose so you can try different kind of breakfast if you stay a few days. Also the location is very easy to find and it is just 20 minutes away from the city Centre.”

“Excellent location. Room was a good size for 1 person, with the shower being a decent size. Bed was a little soft for me, but still comfortable. Restaurant wasn't open, but there are local eateries within a stones throw. When i go back will request either room 121 or 123, as these have a balcony view over the river. Overall a greay couple of days away ”

“The property in a beautiful ancient coaching inn. The pub downstairs is friendly, the food and drinks are like any Greene King pub so it's well priced and good. Breakfast is cheaper if bought on the room. There is a choice of buffet or buffet+hot. Both are nice. Inevitably the property shows some signs of age. Definitely ready for some paint touch up. However that is part of the charm. The floors upstairs are rarely flat due to hundreds of years of settlement. We had a fabulous time with three……
