“It was a nice pub originally built in the 1600s. Free parking and they are working on upgrades to the rooms. Our room had been done, but the cleaner had missed a couple of small things (previously opened sparkling water). But the staff was very accommodating and even booked us a table for supper, just in case we decided to have it there. Great service!!”

“Unfortunately we had to get there early as the contact number on the website is no longer use. Half the building was cold the pool was not open as being renovated the gym also not open or the sauna . The room was so small should have been a single . The 2 staff we saw was lovely and very kind . The place didn’t look ready for any guests . We ended up going home .”

“Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at the old garage, very clean very homely and very modern, everything you could need for a break away, we did find the bed a little on the hard side but everyone has different comfort level with that, shower was amazing, host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed on arrival, would definitely stay again if we were in the area! ”

“Staff attitude was bad. They charged me £100(for incidentals but charged an additional £67.99 for dinner instead of taking from the 100 ! And haven't returned it either.
Interesting property that was cold and dark - no hearing in room. Looking grubby.. No grab bar in tiled shower. ”

“The staff were lovely. The room had some issues. The lighting was poor especially the communal corridor. Couldnt see to insert the door key. No facial tissues. The dressing table was unstable and wobbled. Breakfast was excellent, dinner not so. My main portion was paltry. A discount of £2.40 was offered as compensation, not enough.
