“We stayed at Whitley Coach House to spend a few days in the area before attending a wedding in Frome. Tim and Ginny’s communication was excellent, and they were even kind enough to provide a travel cot last minute as we had ordered one ourselves that we didn’t think would come in time (although it did in the end). The coach house itself was spacious enough for the three of us, with everything one might need for a few days away. ”

“The hotel is very clean, nice and beautiful. They have a big, nice garden and is well managed. It gives you a pleasant environment that you relax and can walk around enjoying the atmosphere. The staff are nice and professional. The gardener even has time to introduce me to the plant I am interested in. This shows how a professional team they are. ”

“部屋は清潔でシングルルームの広さも思っていたよりも広くて快適でした。フロントの男性もとても親切で協力的でした。 ただ、チッペナム駅からは予想していたよりも遠くて歩ける距離ではありません。バスを利用しなければなりませんが、土日は近くのバス停にバスがとまりません。バスなどの公共交通機関を利用して旅行する人は注意する必要があります。 また、ここでタクシーを利用する際は、カードが使えるはずですが、タクシー運転手から何度も現金での支払いを求められます。”

“Staff attitude was bad. They charged me £100(for incidentals but charged an additional £67.99 for dinner instead of taking from the 100 ! And haven't returned it either. Interesting property that was cold and dark - no hearing in room. Looking grubby.. No grab bar in tiled shower. ”

“This is such a delightful country pub. We loved everything about it - the location in a pretty and peaceful village, the decor, the ambiance, the quality of the food, our comfortable and cosy room and the friendly and welcoming staff. It would rate as one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. We were in the smallest bedroom, which was quite compact but decorated so beautifully and had everything we needed. Really comfortable bed and quality bedding. Compact bathroom but lovely hot shower……

“The staff were lovely. The room had some issues. The lighting was poor especially the communal corridor. Couldnt see to insert the door key. No facial tissues. The dressing table was unstable and wobbled. Breakfast was excellent, dinner not so. My main portion was paltry. A discount of £2.40 was offered as compensation, not enough. There was a horrid smell of old refuse and greasy food in the communal corridors. The views and location were exceptional. The staff were helpful and lovely. Not the……

“This is a lovely old building. The rooms are very comfortable and the bed is superb for a good nights sleep. Set just outside town, a short taxi ride in and out, it was very quiet and ample safe parking. The Dinner was very good (Belly pork) and you must try the garlic and cheese bread, it is huge like a pizza and far more than we expected. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they made our stay a memorable one. Thank you very much. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.”

“Lovely maintained garden in bloom to walk around, modern comfortable and spacious garden rooms in newer wing. However, unfortunately proximity to the M4 means the noise of traffic is inescapable dampening the whole experience - even in the rooms where seals on windows needs improving and very loud in the garden - so no quiet relaxing if noise is an issue. Bathroom was not 100% clean in the room - toothpaste left on wash basin. Breakfast was quite average.”
