“This is a beautiful lodge and property with gorgeous views of the surrounding land. The room was lovely with a panoramic view, comfortable bed and antique furniture. In comparison, the bathroom seemed a bit basic (poor quality shelving and lighting), which did not seem in keeping with the nice room. The lodge had lots of wonderful communal spaces to sit and read or take in the view. It seems that housekeeping was available only by request, which we were not informed of on check in. The staff……

“Fun little place to rest our heads”

“Stayed when the temps dipped into the teens. It was icy but the hosts had ensured the drive was plowed and the heat was turned on long before we arrived, so when we finally pulled in, late in the day, it was cozy and warm. The bed was firm enough that my back was not aching in the morning. ”

“The property is Western themed keeping with the town of Winthrop with cabins and 2-story buildings. Originally I was given a second story unit but asked for one on the first floor. It was clean and roomy. The walls were dark logs. Bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. TV worked well. Only issue was the formica countertop was cracked on the front corner.”
