“This was our first time in Washington and I would caution everyone to avoid NW if possible. Was convenient to the DC Streetcar however the unit is located almost directly over a liquor store and the walk to it was dicey. I wasn't aware but apparently pot is legal and used openly in public. Would not have brought the kids had I been warned. The unit itself was TINY. We felt pretty safe being on the 3rd floor but it was quite noisy from the traffic and late night partiers across the street.……

“Quiet apartment. Great location with lots of cafes and restaurants. Across from a park. Lovely area to walk around it. Very clean and comfortable.”

“It was nice to have a clean, modern place to stay that is walking distance to Brookland, where my daughter lives. Hotels are not close to her so this was an excellent alternative. Modern appliances, great shower, and comfortable bed were a definite plus. The building and apartment are secure with codes locks. ”

“Unfortunately, this stay did not meet expectations. The listing advertised a double sofa bed, but the furniture provided was a futon. Because of this discrepancy, one guest had to secure alternative accommodations.We also encountered cleanliness issues upon arrival, including hair beneath the comforter in one of the beds.Addtional detailed house rules, such as visitor restrictions and financial penalties, were disclosed less than 24 hours before check-in and were not stated on the listing at the……

“This house was comfortable, furnished well and clean. Caution, There are alot of steep steps. There is a basement bedroom and family room...we stayed in September, while the rest of the house was comfortable, it was FREEZING down there. The neighborhood seemed quiet and safe, however, it is not very close to the Metrolink station, so if you're going to want to use the Metro, you might have to scooter there. ”

“With a few modifications this place would be rated as excellent. These have been mentioned in earlier reviews: shower curtain should be replaced, step stool to reach microwave, hooks for bathroom towels needed, and etc. The location was perfect for us, lots of towels supplied, coffee available. Cozy place!We enjoyed our stay.”

“Bright, modern penthouse in a great location. We really liked it. You get some city noise (e.g. ambulances) but that's to be expected given the location. Only 1.5 blocks to a Metro station so it's easy to get around if you want to save on Ubers. Cleanliness was "good" but not "perfect", hence the one star taken off. Definitely among the better properties even on cleanliness. Smooth check-in and check-out, and good responsiveness from the manager. I would stay there again.”
