"Wir haben sehr spät gebucht und trotzdem wurden wir außerhalb der eigentlichen Checkin Zeit herzlich empfangen. Morgens sind wir zu früh für das Frühstück abgereist und haben trotzdem noch einen Cappuccino erhalten. Sehr zu empfehlen."

"This is an old hotel but very well maintained. The breakfasts are amazing. The rooms are cleaned every day and the staff is SUPER friendly, this hotel is family owned and the owner bends over backwards to please his clients in every way possible. My family and friends had a great time and the train station is very near."

Hotel staff was amazing and friendly, so kind and nice. This hotel is an old mansion, there are only about 16 rooms, directly overlooking the walkway that is on the water and overlooking the ocean. Our room had a patio looking out at the ocean, with a hot tube, we slept with the doors open and the sound of waves all night long. The breakfast is served in a beautiful room with about 10 tables, floor to ceiling windows looking out at the Mediterranean Sea. Breakfast was excellent quality. If...

Amazing hotel! I wanted to stay here forever! The town of Camogli is truly remarkable and one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at on the Italian Riviera. Highly recommend! There is also easy access via ferry to gorgeous San Fruttuoso and Portofino! There's also a train very close walking distance from the hotel that you can take to get to the Cinque Terre towns in around 45 mins. Camogli and Cenobio dei Dogi though are so beautiful you won't want to leave this town. The hotel has...

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Astoria for 6 nights in March. Overall, it is one of the very best hotels I have stayed in over many years of traveling -- solid, classy, very well-located building; comfortable room with a view of the Bay of Tigullio; a bounteous, tasty breakfast; and perhaps most important, hands-on, fully engaged hotel owners and employees who really care for their guests' comfort and enjoyment of the many attractions of Rapallo and the Ligurian coast.

Amazing property smartly outfitted with an attention to detail that is rare! Staff is lovely and inviting. Felt as if I were visiting a wealthy eccentric friends villa in Italy!! Will be back for sure.

What a unique property! We loved the character of the palace. The decor was really cool. The staff was excellent, great food and cocktails. I enjoyed the Vespar in the bar. Much better to stay here than in or closer to Porto Fino.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Continental even during the offseason! Our room had panoramic ocean views. The property was well-maintained, peaceful, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. While it was a quieter time of year, I actually appreciated the tranquility and had a great experience exploring the area without the usual crowds. The staff was incredibly accommodating, ensuring everything was perfect from check-in to check-out.

A nice little place in a great location! Very easy walk to the beach, trains, and into town. Room is nice enough, only had a few complaints but they wouldn’t stop me from staying again are:
-there was no actual mini fridge, just a wine fridge and nowhere to plug it in.
-construction woke us up at 7:30 one day and cleaning woke us up at 8 another day. Cleaning would also unplug the wifi to vacuum.
-first place we’ve been that you have to give the front desk your key when you leave each...

Nice personal, get a lot of trip suggestions from them. Great location, close to train, ferry, and historical part. BTW, the town itsels is well maintained.

The location is lovely and quiet, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Everything in the hotel was great, and we especially appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. The lady in charge of breakfast was very nice and attentive, and the receptionist was welcoming and friendly. Overall, a wonderful experience!

The best area to stay in Villanoce is the historic core, situated around Piazza Grande and along Via Roma.
This central area offers convenient access to Villanoce's main attractions, including the ancient Castello di Villanoce and the Chiesa di San Giorgio. The streets here are narrow and winding, great for leisurely strolls, and you'll find a selection of local eateries and artisan shops. It serves as a great base for exploring the town on foot.
Couples often find this area particularly appealing. The intimate setting of the historic core, with its traditional architecture and quiet evenings, creates a pleasant backdrop for a relaxing getaway.
When is the best time to go to Villanoce?
The best time to visit Villanoce for pleasant weather and fewer crowds is during the shoulder seasons of May-June and September-October.
During these months, the weather is comfortably warm, great for exploring the Ligurian coastline and hills without the intense heat of mid-summer. You'll find the water warm enough for swimming, and the walking trails are particularly enjoyable. Many local businesses are fully operational, offering a good selection of dining and activity options.
For travelers looking to enjoy the beaches and the full range of summer activities, July and August are also excellent choices, though the area will be busier. This peak season offers the warmest sea temperatures and a lively option, with many festivals and events taking place.
