This seems pretty typical nowadays and is fairly reasonable, but would have been nice to know or even just pay upfront/price into booking."

"Everything was great until the day I left and I found I was bitten by bed bugs. There were 5 spots on my body that are incredibly itchy. This gave me a lot of anxiety and a terrible way to end my vacation. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast and the macarons they sent to guests were very sweet and considerate. I didn't tell the staff about my condition because I didn't find about my condition until the day of check out and it became worse on my way home. I hope the hotel does something about the bed bug."
