“The outside and loby were pretty clean but the washer and dryer were dirty. My room was barely cleaned. The sheets were definitely not changed nor the shower cleaned. There was even a dirty wash rag hanging in the shower curtain still. I asked for the manager but I guess he wasn't there the 2 days I stayed. Front desk changed the bedding and that was it. Breakfast was fine.”

“As for the bed and pillows, well, you get what you pay for. Breakfast was decent, though there is only one restaurant within walking distance; however, downtown is less than a 5-minute drive away with more options. Access to the base was pretty easy, being about 9 to 10 miles (a 12- to 14-minute drive) from Fort McCoy. Overall, it is a good place to stay, and I would return if I had to.”

“Kiosk check in took longer than expected. Facilities needs updating. Room was clean. TV volume would fluctuate from soft to louder.”
