The location, between the cemetery and battlefield on one side, and the shopping area on the other, was ideal. There are, however, two less welcome features to note: the inn is located in two buildings, and one of them does not have an elevator. In addition, dogs are permitted, and the staff could be a little more proactive in dealing with constantly barking dogs without waiting for other guests to complain"

"I had a last-minute need for a four day stay in Gettysburg for a conference. This establishment came close to my budget. The facility is a former Econo-Lodge and it is a bit dated. Having said that, it is obvious that the owners are very particular on keeping the rooms clean and presentable. My room was clean, the bed linens clean and crisp and the bathroom was also clean. I did use the air conditioner as the temps were in the 80's. The compressor made a loud noise upon start each time, so I did not use it at night, but it really wasn't needed. They do collect a security deposit for incidental damage upon check-in, I was concerned about it, but it was refunded back onto my credit card a couple of hours after my departure."
