“A beautiful job of blending the historic with the new additions. Beautiful pool and hot tub. The billiard tables were an unusual surprise. All staff were helpful. Sitting in a rocker on the veranda was delightful. I was very surprised being this hotel is newly built and restored that the shower pressure would drop when another guest in another room would turn on their shower. Our last night the guests in the room above were noisy. We could hear their heavy feet and tv. The rooms are not……

“Stayed here a year ago and the hotel was pretty nice for the price, but now one year later you can tell not much has been maintained and it is going downhill. Still decent for the price, but I'll be choosing another hotel next year as I'm sure it will just continue to get worse. Positives- no bugs and clean linens. Negatives- carpets are gross in hallways and room, smell of smoke in hallways, elevator rail is broken and not working well, pool out of service, bag over top of the smoke detector in……

“Suite 112 was simply amazing. The two room suite was so comfy cozy. The fireplace room was unexpected when we arrived ( must have been upgraded). The bath room was super clean and seemed remodeled recently. And the street level front porch was great. The whole suite seemed repainted.”

“The offered breakfast was WORST I have EVER eaten. It was so bad that I did not even go for breakfast second day. The variety was missing. Whatever was there was COLD e.g . Eggs Yogurt was only 1 flavor, even plain yogurt was missing. in the name of Fruits, ONLY lowest quality of Apple were there. Hope you will take some steps to improve.”

“Breakfast is not good. Stinky bathrooms, hallways and rooms. Absolutely zero maintenance. Never Red roof again. I will just recommend others to stay away from this property.”
