“Pros and cons to every place one stays. Pros: there is a bay outside the front that I did see (two) dolphins in. The owner is quick to respond. The room has the basic essentials. The pools (bc FL) were warm and the clubhouse nice. Cons: I arrived on a Sunday and PM’d the owner. There was a strong smell of toxic chemicals in the interior hallway of the building (not in her unit). I noted in smelled of mold killer, pesticide, or strong paint chemicals. She noted they painted recently, I noted……

“The unit we stayed in was in an unsecured building and immediately there was an unpleasant odor in that building as well in the unit. One night when we returned to the unit, there was a man in the common 2nd floor landing area resting in a lounge chair. We had no idea whether he was a guest or not. The A/C heat unit was so loud and sounded like water running in a bathtub every time it cycled on. The vent fan in the bathroom was very loud. The mattress and the pillows on the king bed were……

“We love love love the area and resort. But definitely not this unit. Carmen was slow to respond- Codes were incorrect, Remotes and fan needed batteries and coffee pot missing. Washing machine was moldy and tub would not drain. Maintenance came to fix both. Not very clean overall and kitchen was thin on utensils and kitchenware. Big deal if you're here for a month. Many things didnt work. If you have a problem it will be awhile for a response from property manager. Would not stay here……

“The best thing about this room was the view from the room and balcony! Loved watching the boats go in and out, pelicans diving for fish, and seeing the dolphin coming through (late morning and early evening)!! Beyond that this place leaves a lot to be desired. Due to the concrete construction and metal doors (which don't open easily), there was minimal soundproofing and we could hear everyone in the building, including barking dogs and screaming children. In the hallway, we could smell marijuana……
