“Good location. The lobby and first floor of the Ilikai are nice spaces. My only complaint is that the small mini-split AC unit is underpowered for this room. We were never able to get the room cool enough. We kept the shades closed but the heat from the windows overpowers this small AC unit. A fan in the room would have been helpful. “We had a wonderful time in Cathy's apartment. The apartment was really well equipped, very clean and had everything what we needed for our three nights stay. The apartment complex has a nice pool and facilities for barbecue and washing/dryer machines.The location of the apartment was perfect, between of Waikiki beach and Ala Moana Shopping Mall and just 8 minutes walk to the beach. “The view of the ocean was the only positive for this condo. The A/C consists of portable indoor units which are very noisy. The mattress on the bed was very thin and uncomfortable, as were the pillows. There is a lot of construction on site for building maintenance and so the parking lot is a mess. We had to park a quarter of a mile down the street. Walking to and from the car was dangerous and inconvenient, as the road is busy. The lock boxes are in a very poorly lit hallway. “The view was beautiful to the beaches and shoreline. Beach accessories were provided which helped tremendously! The room was ok, but outdated. The bedroom TV never worked, so we only had one working TV in the condo. Towels were not up to par. Only given 6 wash towels and 4 bath towels for a week long stay. Although access to laundry was available, the were pay operated. Parking also had to be paid even after paying to stay! Bedroom sheets were dingy as well. I didn’t receive the instructions...
