“The ground-floor cottage is part of a four-unit complex. There are three complexes and they are adjacent to a 9-story condominium building. The sandy beach is right in front of the cottage and if you are lucky, you may see green turtles resting in the morning by the shore. The unit is very well furnished (beach towels, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, surf boards, kitchen). There is no a/c but there are plenty of fans so we felt comfortable. Jackie went above and beyond preparing a well-stocked pantry, sparkling clean home and stunning touches of her eye for beauty throughout the entire condo. “This is a pretty new house that is located up in Mākaha Valley. It has a beautiful view of the mountains above the valley. It is only a short drive down to the local surfing beach as well as other local beaches. Our party of six was very comfortable here. ”

“We had a wonderful stay. Property was as pictured. The biggest challenges we found is that the area you need to drive through to get to the property is very run down. The property is about a 30 min drive from any safe amenity such as a grocery, gas station etc. If you want to just stay in one place your whole trip this is the place. But if you want to explore around it is not. I would have liked the property to have also listed that there were things like - washer and dryer, hair dryer, general...

“It was great to be able to get away from the hustle and noise. Beach located within 15min drive. House was very accommodating. The kids liked that they had their own rooms. This place had everything for baby and up. Highly recommend. Mahalo!”

“I am conflicted about this place. On the one hand: great house. Beautiful. Clean. Full with amenities and very practical. On the other hand: the location is weird. The gated community is great. But outside after two mini you reach the coast and it’s full with homeless in tents. And driving towards HNL it’s at least 30min of this. So from the house there are no close by nice beaches or restaurants. Some fastfood close by in front homeless are sleeping. I don’t understand why you build such an...
