There was a $250 deposit, and when checking out, the lady at the front desk went to my room to "check" it before I could check out. My daughter and I literally only slept in the room for one night. I don't think we will be back just because of the $250 deposit. ”

“The lobby was beautifully put together. The front desk attendant was nice, but I didn’t appreciate being told they didn’t have water after I used my card for incidentals. I had a long day of driving to find out they didn’t have water to shower, which majorly inconvenienced me and my coworker. ”

“This is a perfect place to relax. The beds are wonderful. The host goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. His breakfast was outstanding. The cottage has two porches to relax and have a glass of wine, read a book, or just have a quiet conversation. Any time you are in Natchez, MS. You need to stay at Stone House with your host, Joe Stone.”

The property is gorgeous, peaceful, clean, and well kept. We always look forward to our stay and especially to our dinners at 1818 and the breakfast each morning in the garden room.
