“Because the road in Yellowstone Park was closed due to heavy snow, I was unable to stay, so the hotel did not call for a refund or compensation. Very disappointed.”

“Unfortunately the property is a little hard to locate. This property is 10 miles beyond Dubois and then 7 miles on a curvy hilly gravel road. If this was mentioned on the website, I missed it. Also the website did not mention what food was available, but there was an incredibly nice restaurant so all was good. Rooms are quite small but clean. The view could be better. Would recommend it for more than one night because of the location.”

“The Tipi Retreat had all necessary amenities and then some. Owners clearly anticipated any needs from heated blankets, a coffee maker, outdoor heater to twinkle lights. The beds were very comfortable and the scenery was outstanding. There were only port-a potties on site but as a family used to camping, we didn’t mind. The hotsprings that were open in town were not to our liking but the Tipi Resort is a definite must if you’re staying in the area.”
