The Perfect spot downtown I believe. Beautiful hotel, rooms are a little dated but that’s what makes the experience very cool. Since it is one of the oldest hotels in Texas. Our kids loved the pool as well. The bar was awesome. No ghost sightings but we will be back! Lol

Bathroom needs updates and to be cleaned better. Floor is slippery so be careful. Lots of noise if from the River side, and seems to have thins walls. Other than that, beautiful hotel.

The hotel is impressive. It's fun to stay in a castle.The breakfast buffet is extensive and the dining area is beautiful. The hotel is a bit old. It's great if you're looking to stay in a property with a historical aspect. Check-in was troubling. I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170. ...
