The property had a good vibe. It was updated and I liked everything except the black wall in the bedroom. Thankfully it was behind the bed so I only had to look at it while walking around. Too much black gives me nightmares. Black accents are fine I just can't live with solid black walls or carpet. I enjoyed the Parachute linens, the wrapped toilet base, and good mattress. Everything was very well done.

It really has a different look than all the hotels we've stayed at.The carpeting, furnishings and decidatioons. Even the bath faucets was unique. The staff was very friendly. Loved the place Actually going back tfir the weekend.

Beautiful place to stay at. Well equipped with everything you would need. Perfect for families with little kids

This is a beautiful resort in a quiet mountain setting. We were here during the summer so can't speak to what it is like for a ski vacation but from what we can see it looks conveniently located to the ski runs and there is a gondola that goes from the hotel to the ski resort. Our room was comfortable and clean. We had a beautiful view and I would have given it 5 stars if we could utilize the view full time. Unfortunately the room faced the check in/ drive up to the hotel and so unless you want every guest to see into your room as they drive up, you have to keep your curtains closed most of the time. That was disappointing but when we could keep the curtains open the view was amazing. Service is good and food is good - in room dining is available 24x7 which is a plus. There were a number of times we couldn't reach anyone in guest services or room service however (no one picked up) and so that was a bit frustrating. Other than that service was great and everyone was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend the stargazing experience in the hotel's own observatory dome. There is an actual astronomer on staff. We will definitely come back and just pick a different room.

Very cool eclectic place! We loved the comfortable beds and the retro decor. The room was very tiny with little space to put our luggage. The in room coffee pot was difficult with a jar of loose coffee and tiny filters- no way to measure the coffee. The restaurant (farmer’s daughter) was excellent!
