"Loved this no frills historic hotel. No fuss - just texted me door code to the room, which was all in perfect order. We were in a corner room so had two windows - we also had a neon sign outside so there was constant light in our room and it was misleading when we woke during the night Breakfast was lovely - great variety ..."

"We are a group of 8 ladies enjoying a weekend away and we had a wonderful weekend at Downs Cottage. The property was perfect… comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, beautiful decor, superb location, sauna was a bonus and the garden was very pretty.
