The property is tired and worn but it is tidy and a good bargain for a few nights in the area. "

The Flodden Tree This tree was planted to commemorate Thomas de Berkeley's actions in successfully commanding a large troop on men at the battle of Flodden in 1513. He was rewarded with the honour of knighthood on the field of battle for his services from the Earl of Surrey, who commanded the English army.
